My Favorite Portrait Spots Around Palm Beach Gardens

One of the first questions my clients ask is "Where should we take our photos?" After more than 14 years photographing families, pets and professionals here, I have some places I really love. Each one has a different feeling, so here is my little guide.

PGA National, Palm Beach Gardens

Beautiful gardens, a gazebo and a lake. It feels elegant and green, and it works so well for families and couples. There are two areas I use, one with the gardens and gazebo and one with the gazebo by the water.

Juno Beach

For a relaxed Florida look, the beach is always a favorite. I have a quiet spot for families with pets and little ones, and a busier spot near the pier for that classic beach feeling.

Coral Cove Park, Tequesta

Dunes, sea grape and the ocean. It has a natural, wild beauty, and the light before sunset is so soft. Great for families and dogs who love the beach.

Riverbend Park, Jupiter

If you want something green and peaceful, Riverbend is beautiful. Trees, trails and old Florida nature. Dogs love it here too.

Palm Beach

For elegant portraits, Palm Beach is one of my top places. During the holidays, Worth Avenue is decorated with beautiful Christmas trees, making it a stunning backdrop for a festive family portrait.

Midtown and Mirasol, Palm Beach Gardens

For business portraits and personal branding, I love clean, modern spaces. Midtown has a nice city feel, and Mirasol is lovely for nearby families.

Your Own Home or Community

Sometimes the best place is your home or your own neighborhood. I photograph families in communities all around us, like Alton, BallenIsles, Old Palm, Ibis, Admirals Cove and Jupiter Island. Your home tells your story, and the portraits feel very personal.

And My Studio

When the weather does not cooperate, or when you want an evening session after work, my Palm Beach Gardens studio is always ready. We have backgrounds from simple and timeless to rustic doors and holiday sets, and pets feel calm there.

A Few Tips for Outdoor Sessions

  • The best light is early morning or about an hour to an hour and a half before sunset.

  • I choose shaded, quieter areas so pets and kids stay focused.

  • We always plan a backup date, just in case the weather in Florida changes.
